The Black 80s – Move On

Tom Findlay: "This one is on the comp. It’s just a beautiful house record, an amazing vocal from Hollis P Monroe. It’s a real song, a real journey, but it kicks like a mule – we’ll drop this some time around 5am every time we play Fabric's Room One."

FCL – Let's Go

"Classic house. This is the sound of Room Three for us – we were residents there for three years or so, just after Fabric opened. I think we played this track then – but if not we should have done."

Groove Armada – Superstylin'

"On that note, Superstylin' by yours truly was written in Room Three. Mike, the MC, was jamming on a groove and he came up with the prototype of the vocal that changed all our lives – I think for the better!"

DJ Gregory – Attend One

"Just a classic jam, pure energy. It's something I’d still drop now, but I remember it doing some serious damage on the terrace at Space, back in the days when it didn’t have a roof and you could still hear the planes flying overhead."

Chicken Lips – He Not In

"Another tune that we definitely played at Fabric – and probably every place we ever played for a year. As producers, Chicken Lips couldn’t put a foot wrong, and they owned this kind of raw acid sound. Tune still sounds fresh, to be fair."

Iz And Diz – Mouth (Pepe Braddock remix)

"More of a Room Three affair, this. When this tune came out it sounded like nothing else out there… deliberately lo-fi, just irresistibly full of funk."

7

Antena – Camino Del Sol (Joakim remix)

Insanely musical – just a wonderful example of house music. This tune is just the right sort of epic for me – you can play it at sunset, or at 4am, and it suits either.

Catz 'n Dogz – Me

"We’ve loved their productions for years – always so forward-thinking, and great to dance to. I think this is the first Catz 'N Dogz tune I got, and I played it relentlessly."
