Number 15
The New Jersey Devils haven't been a good team for the past few years now. They've been trying to make the playoffs for the past 3 years but have failed simply because the don't have goal the scoring ability, what they do have however is an elite goaltender in Cory Schneider and that is why I have the New Jersey Devils at number 15
Number 14
Ever since winning the Stanley Cup in 2011 the Boston Bruins have been a big threat in the NHL for a while, but a few moves made by GM Don Sweeney trading away Milan Lucic and Dougie Hamilton may be a possible sign that they are rebuilding and considering the fact that most of their top players are over the age of 28 rebuilding would be a smart move for the Boston Bruins
Number 12
What do you get when you take a great veteran netminder, a legendary goal scorer and a bunch of great young players and put them all on team? The Florida Panthers, also another team with great young forwards but the one thing they have that the other teams don't, Jaromir Jagr. Its great what the Panthers are doing by having all the young players learn from one of the all time greatest, Plus Roberto Luongo taking care of the cage.
Number 11
At number 11 I have the Buffalo Sabers and no I am not crazy. The Buffalo Sabers have finally solved the main issue they've had for many years which is goaltending by trading for young goaltender Robin Lehner. Also from drafting Jack Eichel and Acquiring Ryan O'reilly there top six is looking very very nasty
Number 10
At number ten I have the Columbus Blue Jackets. Now the Columbus Blue Jackets are a very interesting team. They've got great offense, great defense, and awesome goaltending all around just a great team, but after being eliminated by the Penguins in round one of the 2014 playoffs they did not have a good season this year, some may argue that it was because of all their injuries and if the Jackets can stay healthy next season I think they will be a good team but fall short of the playoffs
Number 8
After an unbelievable season last year making the playoffs with Andrew Hammond a goalie that no one had even heard of, I think the sens will be back in the playoffs this season. The big name players like Erik Karlsson, Bobby Ryan and Kyle Turris all had 50 point seasons and will have more points next year, and he there young players like Curtis Lazar, Mark Stone and Mika Zibanejad are only getting better
Number 3
The Pittsburgh Penguins coming off a disappointing season barley making the playoffs and being eliminated in the first round by the rangers will have a bounce back season next year after acquiring Phil Kessel from the leafs and Center Nick Bonino from Vancouver and with all the young talent they have in there defensive core they'll be a huge threat next season
