Stuck On Repeat

For real, where is the story going? We all know what's going to happen since each season repeats itself. Rick and the gang find a safe place, then everything turns into sh!t. After they overcome that, our survivors find another new place, and boom! All hell breaks loose again. It gets very old.

Zombies Are Not The Main Threat

This show is supposed to be about zombies? Well, it was in the beginning, but after awhile it started to change. Sure, we're still in a zombie environment, but it now it seems like they are placed on the back burner in order for humans to be the main threat. I get it, this is a survival world, so of course you will run into bad people who will try to take over, but this is what the show is about now, not the zombies. They are just there lurking around for a quick munch.

3

It Takes Forever

One thing that I can't stand is a story that takes forever to get to the point. With The Walking Dead, it might take half a season until the story gets to the main storyline. This can really get boring after a while. Don't get me wrong, I like knowing details, and I get it, it takes time to prepare for war, or time to get over a death of a loved one, but come on, we watched Rick being out of the loop forever after his wife died. I get it, that kind of thing will change a person, and sure, you probably will go crazy after dealing with that, but this storyline dragged on, which made the show go nowhere. It gave the title of the show a new meaning, The Walking Dead, as in, not going anywhere.

4

The Characters

It's hard to care about a show when really you have one favorite person. For me, this person is Daryl . Don't get me wrong, I had other favorites, like Glenn, but over time the writers decided to ruin his character. That's the problem with this show, your favorites either die or what you love about them dies. Another thing that the show does well is have your favorite character playing on the side. Sometimes this is a good thing in order to give other characters a chance to shine, but with The Walking Dead, they could be sitting on the back burner for a whole season.

To Sum It All Up

These are 4 reasons why I stopped watching, I guess you can say that I just don't care for the show anymore. I gave it a fair shot, but I just can't stick with a show if it does not interest me anymore.
