Chelsea Manning made Wikileaks famous, and his been stuck in a male prison for seven years. Obama just decided to commute most of her sentence.

Ms. Manning was convicted for leaking military secrets, and began her transition whilst in a male prison. She has attempted suicide twice, and activists have long been calling for Obama to pardon her.
Under Obama's orders, Manning is to be released this year in May, not in 2045
