Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia welcomed a teeny tiny new fennec fox on December 3, 2016, but it hasn't begun wandering out into the majority of its enclosure to explore until now, so we're only just getting our first views of the little fox outdoors, playing with its parents. Zookeeper Deb Price gave a statement on the new fennec, saying:

The little one is beginning to spend a lot more time outdoors. We're seeing it playing, rolling around on its back and chasing after mum and dad.

The new fennec fox, whose sex has still not been confirmed and who has not yet been named, was born to Kebili and Zinder and is their seventh kit together. The zoo has said they make a great pair of parents.

The parents are doing a fantastic job again, with Zinder proving to be a particularly attentive dad. We've seen him filling up his mouth with food and then racing back to deliver it to the kit.

Fennec foxes are the smallest of all fox breeds with large ears to keep them cool in the deserts where they traditionally live. The new baby fox weighs in at only 1. 41 lbs and has started eating solid foods. But now, what we want to know is...

Which do you think is cuter: a fox kit or a fennec fox kit?
