It's been a long time since we've seen the characters of Love Actually. Too long by about 14 years, in fact, since the movie first came out and became an instant romantic holiday classic. The stars of the film have changed a lot. You can watch them transform over the years in this short!
Lucky for us, we're finally getting a short but sweet Love Actually reunion for Red Nose Day, a kind of telethon of British Origin that benefits Comic Relief, an organization dedicated to helping children in need, but mostly, the news just makes us feel like this:
The 10-minute short will be called "Red Nose Day Actually" and will be written by the film's original screenwriter and director, Richard Curtis. It will give us a glimpse into the lives of the much beloved original cast of characters over a decade later. So far, we have a glimpse of Sam (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) and his dad (Liam Neeson) and Joanna (Olivia Olson), the girl Sam fell in love with.
They seem to be doing pretty well, but we'll have to wait and see where our other favorite characters are. The cast returning so far include the three you see here, in addition to Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, Keira Knightley, Liam Neeson, Bill Nighy, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Martine McCutcheon, Andrew Lincoln, Lucia Moniz, Olivia Olson, Marcus Brigstocke and Rowan Atkinson.
