Air travel is one of the most popular means of travel. It is safe, time efficient and with time is easily becoming a cost efficient choice for the most of us. Thanks to the competitive pricings amongst various other airlines. While airline travel is definitely surging every year, it is time to analyze whether or not the airport and their ground handling are well equipped?

Considering the way airports generally operate, the congestion is a consistent problem and it highlights the fact that airlines need to adopt a better management system with more strategic planning in place. The IATA’s director-general shares his views on the above said situation and mentioned how the current situation calls for an infrastructure analysis where a crisis is on the horizon if the airports do not prepare themselves as per the oncoming demands. While this remains as a challenge, airport authorities need to keep in mind how they can upgrade while analyzing the costs and keeping the operations running smoothly.
