Barnsley clash moved on police advice

Leeds United's September Championship clash at Barnsley has been moved to a Sunday lunch-time kick-off on police advice.
The clash at Oakwell was originally set to take place at 3pm on Saturday, September 14 but the game will now kick-off at 12.30pm the following day on the advice of South Yorkshire Police.

Tottenham have launched a second raid on Leeds after joining the bidding for rising midfield star Kalvin Phillips.

Tottenham have already paid Leeds £9million for teenage winger Jack Clarke, who is remaining on loan at Elland Road next season, and are now targeting Phillips.

Aston Villa have made the early running in the race to sign Phillips, who was named in the EFL Team of the Season, and have offered £11million.

Newcastle are also keen on the Leeds academy graduate, while Bournemouth and Wolves are understood to have cooled their initial interest.

Clarke eyeing Premier League promotion

Leeds United loanee Jack Clarke says it would be a "childhood dream" to help the club to promotion to the Premier League this season.
The 18-year-old forward completed a £9million switch to Tottenham Hotspur earlier this summer but returned immediately to West Yorkshire on a season-long loan deal to continue his development.

Another rumour... Sawyers to Leeds?

Leeds United are ready to rival Celtic for the signature of Brentford midfielder Romaine Sawyers, Football Insider reports.
The report states Marcelo Bielsa is an admirer of the Bees captain and regards him as someone who can add creativity to the Leeds midfield next season.
It also adds that the 27-year-old is in the final year of his contract with a "number of clubs north and south of the border" interested in his services.

Whites linked with in-demand youngster

According to the Belfast Telegraph, Leeds United are among a host of clubs chasing Linfield’s 15-year-old starlet Charlie Allen.

It is believed that Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham and Leicester City are amongst the Premier League clubs interested while Celtic, Rangers and Aberdeen are monitoring his development.

Whites monitoring Tottenham youngster - reports

According to the Daily Mail, Leeds are among a number of clubs monitoring Tottenham Hotspur youngster Tashan Oakley-Boothe.
Swansea are said to be leading the race for Oakley-Booth as new boss Steve Cooper coached him at England under-17 level when they won the World Cup.
The 19-year-old has one-year left on his contract with Huddersfield, Derby, Leeds, Stoke and Reading also taking an interest in the player.
