Jovial & Popular, you are the most iconic hero in all of gaming - Mario! Serving as Nintendo's mascot and the eponymous protagonist of the series, Mario has appeared in over 200 video games since his creation. Depicted as a short, pudgy, Italian plumber who resides in the Mushroom Kingdom, he repeatedly rescues Princess Peach from the Koopa villain Bowser, sometimes with the help of his brother Luigi. Mario also has other enemies and rivals, including Donkey Kong and Wario.

Impatient & Quick-Witted, you are Sega's iconic mascot - Sonic The Hedgehog! Sonic is the title character and protagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series released by Sega, as well as numerous spin-off comics, four animated shows, and an animated OVA. He is a 15-year-old blue anthropomorphic hedgehog who has the ability to run at supersonic speeds and the ability to curl into a ball, primarily to attack enemies.

She is presented as a beautiful, intelligent, and athletic British archaeologist-adventurer who ventures into ancient, hazardous tombs and ruins around the world. The character first appeared in the 1996 video game Tomb Raider. She has also appeared in video game sequels, printed adaptations, a series of animated short films, feature films (portrayed by Angelina Jolie), and merchandise related to the series.

Stern & Commanding, you are the iconic Spartan hero Master Chief! John-117 "Master Chief" is a fictional character and the main protagonist of the Halo fictional universe, created by Bungie. Master Chief is essentially the face of the Halo series. The character, as he appears in the double story arcs, can be described as a towering and faceless cybernetically-enhanced supersoldier; save for the first installment of the second story arc, he is never seen without his green-colored armor and helmet (even then, only his eyes are revealed). The alias "Master Chief" arises from the two ranks which John holds throughout the later events of the Halo universe.

Mysterious & Cold-Natured, you are the ancient Mortal Kombat contestant Sub Zero! Sub Zero was one of the original characters in the first Mortal Kombat game in 1992, and has appeared in every game since. The character possesses the innate ability to control ice in many forms. In his first return appearance in Mortal Kombat II, it was revealed that the original Sub-Zero had died during the events of the first game and was replaced by his younger brother. The most defining trait of the character is his fierce rivalry with Scorpion.

Fierce & Short-Tempered, you are the iconic Street Fighter contestant Blanka! He first appeared in the 1991 video game Street Fighter II as one of the eight playable characters, and was subsequently featured in sequel and spin-off games. Blanka's back story tells us that he was once human, but after a plane crash in Brazil, he underwent a mutation that resulted in his green coloring and ability to generate electricity. Blanka was generally well received by critics and fans alike, becoming one of the most popular characters in the franchise.

Just & Timeless, you are the iconic Hero of Time - Link! Link, from the Legend of Zelda series, is depicted as a child, teenager, or adult of the Hylian race, originating from the fictional land of Hyrule. Link often travels through vast lands, defeating creatures, evil forces, and the series' primary antagonist, Ganon, while attempting to save Princess Zelda and Hyrule. To defeat him, Link usually requires the mystic Master Sword and Light Arrows, or a similar legendary weapon, obtained after many trials and battles, and magical objects or using other items such as musical instruments and weaponry.

A member of FOXHOUND, he is tasked with disarming and destroying the bipedal nuclear weapon-armed mecha Metal Gear. Controlled by the player, he must act alone, supported via radio by commanding officers and specialists. While his first appearances in the original Metal Gear games were references to Hollywood films, the Metal Gear Solid series has given a consistent design by artist Yoji Shinkawa alongside an established personality.
