This is because the way from the taxi entrance to pyramids it is nearly about 5 minutes walking.

The sellers may be rude and aggressive to you or with every traveler. As they look for making money. You have to be your own guard constantly. Moreover, if any, local start conversation with you are seeking for money only.

·        Assess the Add-ons
A service tax of between 10% and 15% is applied in most up-market restaurants and hotels, to which VAT (value-added tax) and municipal taxes are also added. In simpler words carefully look at the bills before paying. Because the bill you will pay can be 25% higher than the usual paying bill.

·        Carry Change-
You should carry changes and coins as you have to pay many times in a day. Not exactly you have to pay but need to “tip” waiters, room-service and so on.

·        Cover Up-
Culturally, Egypt belongs to Muslim people. Even in the big cities, a woman should have a male companion with them when they are walking on the street. The ladies there even travelers should wear neck covered top, shoulders and upper arms should be covered. If a lady tends to wear a skirt it should be below the knee. You should not insist on your right to wear rule instead you should respect their culture.

·        It is never OK for an Egyptian Man to touch other ladies-
Due to Egypt strict religion, it is not even legal in the Egypt hotel that a man stays with the woman who is apparently not his lawful wife. Before getting the room the management their ask the Egypt man to show the legal marriage certificate. Most of the Egypt women are covered due to their strict rules. A handshake is OK, but more than this or any form of touching can be considered as a crime.
