Cook
If you have never cooked in your entire life, and suspect that you'll probably start a fire, here's a link to quick, easy recipes that require no-real-cooking and keep you occupied and healthy. http://www.realsimple.com/food-recipes/recipe-collections-favorites/quick-easy/no-cook-recipes/20-meals-7
Read.
This may seem counterintuitive, as you'd rather read school work than anything else right? Wrong.
You know that sometimes, you'd rather read ANYTHING instead of school stuff.
Take this time to read about what's happening around the world. If the big, boring words dont appeal to you read articles that make news updates fun! (http://www.playbuzz.com/9news10/how-much-do-you-know-about-the-presidents)
You can also read those "top-ten-lists" and make use of their knowledge in the long run. (Congratulations, you are making good use of your time by reading this one!)
Make Lists
If you're not reading one, make one.
You may not be a list-maker, and may think of lists as an incredible waste of time, but give it a shot. Lists do not have to pertain to work that you have to get done. You can make lists of places you want to visit, or different types of food you would like to try, or movies you need to watch.
Lists allow your mind to take a step back, and relax, before you dive in again.
Sleep
Yes, you read it right. Sleep is a great way to prevent wasting time. If you feel as though you are not being able to focus, or get yourself to do any of the " INSANELY LARGE AMOUNTS OF WORK" that you have to do, close everything and get under those sheets. Power naps work wonders. 30 minutes, and your body is refueled and ready to rock!
Remember: Do not spend all your time sleeping. Remember to set those alarms, or ask your roommate to drench you with a bucket of water.
Do Not "CHECK" facebook.
Last but not the least, try and stay away from those social network sites. We all love facebook, but it has a time and a place. If you feel that you are wasting time, it is NEVER a good idea to "check" your home page. 10 minutes become 3 hours, and you don't even realize it.
If you cannot seem to help yourself- download the Self-Control app and make sure you use it.
