Teenagers and children across the country have been climbing over motorway bridges to take photos of their legs dangling over the edge, but why?
Police say that this is believed to be a new trend on the social networking site, Snapchat.
Police were called to three separate instances of teenagers climbing over bridges to take part in the challenge in the space of an hour.
A spokesman for the Bury police division said: "There have been recent reports of youths climbing over bridges to take photos of vehicles passing below - following Snapchat/Facebook requests.
"These are very dangerous places and people are putting themselves in danger."
There are very serious concerns that this trend could catch on among police and parents due to the fact that Snapchat plays such a huge part in to so many teenagers lives.
Parents across the country need to be aware and are urged to ensure that their children know how dangerous this challenge could be to their lives.

The three instances were all with an hour and twenty minutes, with the first occasion regarding the M66 near Ramsbottom.
The second call out was made to a bridge over the M60 motorway near to Besses o’ th’ Barn and the final case was reported to a bridge hanging over the M60 motorway near to Park Lane in Whitefield.
Inspector Jim Jones, a member of the Bury police force, tweeted a warning out to teenagers and parents which said: "Those spoken to claim it’s a Snapchat challenge to post pictures leaning over bridges. How irresponsible can you get. Please help nip this in the bud.”
