You can pack your jewelry items in sleeve style boxes for storage or that perfect gift for a loved one. We have a very basic and easy tutorial for these that can help you make them by yourself:

What You’ll Need:

•  A large piece of cardboard or any other stock material for the sleeve in thinner finish and another large piece for the tray in thicker grade
•  A pen for marking with a ruler scale
•  A craft knife or pair of scissors
•  A bone folder
•  Quick glue with a glue applicator
•  Optional decorations including wrapping papers, ribbons etc.

How It’s Done

1.  You’ll start by having your thicker cardboard piece for the tray laid on a flat work surface. Any size dimensions could be chosen provided you choose exactly same sizes for both the finished tray and the sleeve.
2.  First, use the pen to mark the square or rectangle in the middle of your tray card-stock piece. This is the inner square and will make the bottom of the box tray.
3.  Whichever depth you need from your box, extend it on all 4 sides of the marked tray. Keep your inner tray lines dotter as they will be folded and outer ones solid as they will be cut.
4.  Remove the excessive card-stock off but cutting on the solid lines and then use the bone folder to fold the inner lines. This should make a perfect shape with its borders in the depth that you chose while marking lines.
5.  Now, you will need to make the sliding sleeve. Start by getting your thinner card-stock piece laid out on the work surface and get it ready for marking and cutting.

6.  Start marking the same square or rectangle you did for the tray from one side of the cardboard sheet. Do this in a way that you have more space on the adjacent forward side of the sheet
7.  If your box is in a square shape, you can extend the topside of its material from any side. If it is a rectangle shaped sleeve box, without drawing a cutting line on the edges of longer sides, mark the last lines extending out exactly the measurement of your tray’s width. This should make up for the topside of your sliding sleeve as well. Cut off the extra materials on two sides that will be left open
8.  Make sure to spare about an inch on the sides of your sliding sleeve. Bend it with the bone folder for the sides of your box. You should have a sleeve piece that has 1-inch excessive material. Glue the two ends together making use of that extra 1-inch space provided
9.  Apply any optional decorations such as ribbons, stickers or wrapping papers. You perfect sleeve boxes are ready to be used whichever way you need them.

This is a very basic DIY for sleeve boxes. When you need extra sturdy and bulk Sleeve Boxes Wholesale products, looking for high quality packaging suppliers should suit best.
