What's in a title? Everything!

Your content's title is what readers will see when they're browsing the web or their social feeds, making an enticing title the most important part of your content's header! Think of it as your content's elevator pitch. In just a few words, you want to convince readers that your content is worth reading, without resorting to the click bait titles that digital audiences are increasingly immune to.

How do I do that?

Be succinct, direct and precise.

Highlight the most important part of your content in the title.

Ask a question that your readers will want to answer.

Appeal to emotion by pulling at your readers' heartstrings.

Match the tone of your title to the types of audiences you're trying to reach.

Use key words or phrases that make your content easier to find on online search engines.

When creating a Playbuzz Personality Quiz or Trivia, use the title to entice your readers by promising to reveal something about them!

The Art of Description

When creating on the Playbuzz platform you have the option of adding a description to your article. While this is optional, it's important because it gives you the opportunity to hook readers by saying something more about your content. It's also another opportunity to include keywords and phrases that will make your content easier to find on the web.

How do I add a description?

In the create screen, immediately beneath your "Story title", you see "Description". Write your content's description here.

This is your chance to convince readers to start reading and engaging with your content. Here are three tips for how to do it:

Entice your readers by revealing something important or shocking that they'll discover when reading your content

Tell your readers what they're going to experience. Are you going to show them an amazing video? Ask their opinion on a breaking news story? Reveal something new about their personalities? This is your chance to tell them what they're in for.

Use key words or phrases that will help your content reach the specific audiences you're targeting.
