On Wednesday afternoon, March 29, a group of fourteen elderly singers from the First Baptist Church of New Braunfels were returning from a church choir retreat when tragedy struck in the form of a 20-year-old named Jack Young, whose truck swerved into their lane and hit them head-on. Of the fourteen people in the mini church bus, only two survived long enough to make it to the hospital, and one died there. The other, Rose Mary Harris, 64, is in critical but stable condition. The only other survivor of the accident was Young, who is currently stable in the hospital.
The First Baptist Church of New Braunfels has requested that its congregation and the families of those who have died be kept in people's thoughts.
If you're a Christian, you can pray for those who lost their loved ones and for the church family.
