A ranger qualified Green Beret, Special Forces sniper and renowned MMA fighter, there isn’t much that could scare off Tim Kennedy - or so he thought...
Having joined the Army in 2004, Kennedy has completed tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, and served as Sergeant First Class in the Army’s 7th Special Forces Group.
He's an MMA fighter...
He is the only American soldier to simultaneously serve full-time in the United States Army, while fighting professionally in the UFC's Middleweight division, boasting victories over MMA superstars such as Robbie Lawler and Michael Bisping.
To add to his impressive CV, he’s also three-time champion of the Modern Army Combatives tournament - a grueling three-day event that tests mixed martial arts skills.
Hobbies?
In his spare time, Tim leads "Sheepdog Response", an organisation that trains civilians self-defence, in order to protect themselves in life threatening situations.
Recently, Kennedy has even dipped his toe into the fashion industry, having launched a military-themed clothing line!

In brand new show Hard to Kill, Tim shines a spotlight on the nation's toughest workers by spending a day walking, and working, in their shoes. From becoming a flight test pilot, to a bullfighter, to triggering avalanches, in each episode Tim risks life and limb to reveal the everyday heroes in difficult jobs.
