One lane closed due to vehicle tyre change on M6 Southbound from J34 A683 (Lancaster) to J33 A6 Preston Lancaster Road (Lancaster South / Garstang). Traffic is coping well. Lane one (of three) is closed.

A spokesman from the AA said: "Queueing traffic due to people slowing to look at accident on M61 Northbound from J8 A674 Millennium Way (Chorley) to J9 M65 J2 (Clayton Brook)."

7.50am - Good news for rail users
National Rail say most of the services in and out of Preston are running as normal at the moment.
Only the 7.47am to Manchester Airport has been cancelled so far.
Most trains, including those to Blackpool, Scotland and the East of the county are running on time.
7.45am - Bus services affected across Preston
Preston Bus says snow and ice are affecting services across the city, with their own staff struggling to get into bus depots.
A spokesman said: "Reports have been received that conditions in the East of Preston, and in South Ribble and Chorley areas are expected to impact services.
"No services have been cancelled as yet, but delays are expected as vehicles struggle to get through on icy roads.
"Staff travelling to work are also experiencing difficulties getting in to Preston from rural areas, and this is likely to further impact services.
"Apologies for any inconvenience - we will update as we know more details.
7.40am - more delays on the M6
The M6 is badly affected between Penrith and Kirkby Lonsdale. The motorway is reportedly down to two lanes between junctions 39 and 37. One motorist reported it being "barely passable" in some parts.
7.36am - All runways shut at Manchester Airport
We're hearing reports that all runways are shut at Manchester Airport this morning.

7.20am - Delays on the M6
Heavy congestion on the M6 southbound between junctions J27 and J25 is causing delays of one and a half hours. Normal traffic conditions are expected between 8.30am and 8.40am.
