The Shire refers to an area settled exclusively by Hobbits and largely removed from the goings-on in the rest of Middle-earth. It is located in the northwest of the continent, in the large region of Eriador and the Kingdom of Arnor. You live here as you prefer the love of nature over that of gold and other worldly riches. Food and drink is always a plus, and you don’t like going outside of your comfort zone.
The capital of Rohan is the hill fort of Edoras which is located on a hill in a valley of the White Mountains. Meduseld, the Golden Hall of the King of Rohan, is located there. You live here as you love large open areas and the freedom it provides. You have a deep love for animals, especially horses and are considered a true and reliable friend on who others can count on to come to them in their hour of need.
Mordor was the region occupied and controlled by Sauron, in the southeast of northwestern Middle-earth to the East of Anduin, the great river. Orodruin , a volcano in Mordor, and was the destination of the Fellowship of the Ring and the quest to destroy the One Ring. You live here as you prefer to have secrets. Your desire to be in control far outweighs your compassion for the weak. You are a persuasive and sometimes manipulative leader. Only your own pride can stop you from having all that you have ever desired… absolute power.
The Lonely Mountain (Sindarin Erebor) is a mountain in the north of Rhovanion. It is the source of the Celduin River, and the location of the Kingdom Under the Mountain. The town of Dale lies in a vale on its southern slopes. You live here as you love money, and lots of it. You have very close friends, and are very strong and stubborn. You love your friends, and hate your enemies with a passionate almost unmatched by anyone else. What you lack in wisdom you make up for in courage and valor.
Moria was the name given by the Eldar to an enormous underground complex in north-western Middle-Earth, comprising a vast network of tunnels, chambers, mines and huge halls or mansions, that ran under and ultimately through the Misty Mountains. You live here as you prefer the darkness that can cover and conceal your secrets. You have ancient demons that will hurt anyone that comes near to you and you prefer quantity over quality. You can be reclusive and quiet, people can go a long time without hearing from you, and yet you continue to not only survive, but thrive in the darkness.

Minas Tirith originally named Minas Anor, it became the heavily fortified capital of Gondor in the second half of the Third Age. It was originally built to guard the former capital, Osgiliath, from attack from the west, but became the capital when Osgiliath fell into ruin. It is often referred to as the White City and the City of the Kings. You live here as you are a noble person. You seek not for your own personal desire, but to better humanity and the world in general. You fight for your friends and are willing to sacrifice all for them. However, you sometimes doubt your own abilities and can be corrupted if the prize is precious to you.
Rivendell is an Elven outpost in Middle-Earth. It is an important location as it was established and ruled by Elrond in the Second Age of Middle-earth (four or five thousand years before the events of The Lord of the Rings), and was protected by the powers of its lord and his elven ring Vilya. You live here as you are wise and patient. You are not always the first to battle, however you are always aware of those around you. You have some differences with others, however you see past them when there is something larger at stake. Many people envy you and wish to be you. You are full of grace and wonder.
Isengard was built in the Second Age around the tower of Orthanc by the Númenóreans in exile. Its location was at the north-western corner of Rohan, guarding the Fords of Isen from enemy incursions into Calenardhon together with the fortress of Aglarond to its south. You are very wise, and are a natural leader. People come to you for wisdom and council. However, you sometimes use those individuals for your own personal gain. You are susceptible to corruption and your mistakes can hurt even your closet of friends. You make friends with those who, like you, seek power.
