The Sitcom Parents

The Sitcom Parents

Your Parents are the Sitcom Kind! They may be a little bit goofy and misunderstood by the neighbors, but who cares? They're always interesting and a lot of fun when you need a good laugh. They probably have a unique sense of humor and only actually "get" each other's jokes and puns, but that might just be because of that bottle of wine they finished off at dinner. Your parents may be the ones to call for a good time, but being of the Sitcom breed means they have some serious parental credentials. They're reliable and wise, dependable and there when you need them, and you can be sure that they always have your back since you will always come first to them.

The Executive Parents

The Executive Parents

You have Executive Parents! We're guessing that they're the put together and responsible type; maybe they even work a bit too much here and there. However, this is only because you're parents try to provide you with the best and most secure of everything possible. They're also the best example of hard-working individuals you've ever seen! They have taught you day after day that being invested in what you do (and loving it at the same time), will be the answer to perpetual happiness and stability. Their strength and tenacity is also very impressive, but it isn't lacking in tender, loving care. Being able and accomplished is just as much for the sake of their kids as well as themselves.

The "Peter Pan" Parents

The "Peter Pan" Parents

We like to call your Parents the "Peter Pan" kind! They're the type of parents who are forever young, and don't usually like to admit that they're growing older. They may like to take part in the specific activities and current phenomena that occupy your mind and social circle, but who said this had to be a bad thing? They're always interested in what's new, hip or changing with the times and this works to your advantage (if you choose to let it). What makes them so quirky and adorable is the fact that their love for you is constantly present and the desire to have a huge part in your life as a friend and parent, lets you know how much they care.!

The Progressive Parents

The Progressive Parents

You have the Progressive Type of Parents! Your parents are totally cool, laid back and understand that with new generations come new trends and fads. What these two really care about is that you're being yourself and never have to feel ashamed for the personal choices you make in your lifetime. OK, so they might possess some of that "free love" mentality that we heard about back in the 60's, but they've placed a more modern spin on their equal rights stance and freedom to choose perspective. Being open and honest in your parental relationship were two components that were always present, because after all, the key to a successful and nonjudgmental family unit is open communication!

The Traditional Parents

The Traditional Parents

You have Traditional Parents! You have a wonderful example of a mother who takes maternity seriously, and a father who wants to provide warmth and protection for his loved ones. They may have been a bit old school when it comes to discipline and authority but that's because the conservative action of crime and punishment has been working for like, ever. Your parents may have tried to instill in you a higher sense of respect for others as well as yourself, helping you become a great judge of character along the way who's focused on keeping the positive things in your life while excreting the bad the ones.

The PTA Parents

The PTA Parents

You have the PTA Parents! Your parental units were usually involved in the most prominent aspect of your life and liked to insert themselves in your environment for the sake of participation. They believed that the more support and encouragement they showed, you would never feel alone; plus, having the people who love you most show you how proud they are really does help! They also held the intention of keeping balance and order in your waking life through supervising school events, extra curricular activities and being friends with your friend's parents. This type of safety net is the ultimate one, cause you know your parents will always catch you when you fall!
