Helen Mason began to realize something was terribly wrong with her son's vision while he was still very young, and after he was diagnosed with Stargardt's Macular Dystrophy, a juvenile degenerative eye disease, there was little hope of him ever seeing again. But now, Charlie Mason, at age 9, has received the gift of sight again thanks to SightPlus goggles. When asked about the transformation, Ms. Mason said:
