What will the Chancellor say today?
BBC
Apparently hi plans a "boost for homes and wages"
Andy
Oh. Well that sounds ok.
BBC
Well, sure, but what's the cost? The Institute for Fiscal studies said:
"the economic numbers are going to get worse - he's going to be borrowing more than he wanted to and he is going to be very uncertain about exactly where we will be in four or five years' time."
Andy
Gloomy.
BBC
Well, he's basically borrowing some more now to help the co called JAMs but that borrowing is going to be contributing to the UK's national debt, which stands at £1.6trn - This was described as "eye-wateringly" large.
Andy
