The Bull That Ran Wild Through Queens Yesterday Has Died

Yesterday, a bull escaped a slaughterhouse in Queens, NY and ran wild through the streets, chased by police and civilians alike who were attempting to calm it and bring it to safety. Here, you can see the bull running briefly:

The bull eluded police for hours before it was finally captured in someone's back yard. Over the course of the morning it was shot with at least 12 tranquilizer darts and its legs were tied when it was finally apprehended for transport. It died during transport sometime before 2:30 pm, but the cause of death is yet unknown as is the location to which it was being transported.
The bull will now be taken to a crematorium. A fitting end for a fiery animal full of spirit.
