Graeme Atkinson, Rochdale. August 7, 1999
It's doubtful if the former Preston North End winger knows of his place in Cheltenham Town's history. His 24th minute goal was the first conceded by the Robins in the League and the first League goal at Whaddon Road.
Dale won the match 2-0 with veteran Tony Ford scoring the second before half-time while a streaker livened up a rather dull second half.
Wayne Corden, Mansfield Town. August 25, 2001
The Robins endured a poor start to the 2001/2 season and the three points they handed the Stags would prove vital later in the season.
Craig Disley scored twice for Mansfield in the first half but a Julian Alsop brace got the Robins back in the game.
Steve Cotterill's team were pushing for a winner when winger Corden scored a fine individual goal in the last minute to steal the points.
Mike Duff (own goal), Queens Park Rangers. March 18, 2003
The Robins' first trip to Loftus Road had started in positive fashion. Martin Devaney's fifth minute strike had given Bobby Gould's side the lead.
Kevin Gallen levelled for the hosts five minutes before the break before Duff turned one past his own goalkeeper on the stroke of half-time.
Rangers added two more in the second half through winger Lee Cook and veteran forward Paul Furlong to seal a convincing win.
Kevin Gall, Yeovil Town. December 26, 2004
The Robins were taught a lesson by Gary Johnson's Yeovil on Boxing Day 2004.
Again, they took the lead through a Martin Devaney goal, but they didn't lead for long as Welsh winger Gall (above) levelled.
Phil Jevons gave Johnson's side the lead and goals from Arron Davies and Paul Terry (brother of John) sealed a 4-1 win for the hosts at HuisH Park
Neil Cox, Crewe Alexandra. September 12, 2005
The Robins had started life in League One well, but things took a turn for the worse after this Tuesday night defeat at Crewe.
Nicky Maynard gave Alex the lead but his goal was cancelled out by Brian Wilson before half-time.
Cox (above) restored the lead with 20 minutes remaining and Luke Varney added a third to seal the win for Crewe. it was the first of a run of 10 defeats in 11 games for John Ward's side.
Andy Kirk, Yeovil Town. March 8, 2008
Keith Downing's relegation-threatened Robins went to Huish Park in need of a positive result, given their next game was at Leeds United.
An Alan Wright own goal gave the Glovers a ninth-minute lead but Steve Brooker levelled the scores in the second half.
Scottish striker Kirk struck 17 minutes from time to give Yeovil the win. It meant that Anthony Elding's late goal for Leeds in the Robins' famous 2-1 win four days later was goal number 501.
Ian Harte, Carlisle United. April 25, 2009
A trademark free-kick from the Republic of Ireland international gave Carlisle the lead in a game that the Robins had to win in order to avoid the drop.
A Drissa Diallo penalty levelled the scores, but nine man Carlisle held on to consign Martin Allen's Robins to relegation from League One.
Phil Edwards, Accrington Stanley. October 30, 2010
One of the best performances of the 2010/11 season came at the Crown Ground where the Robins were convincing 4-2 winners.
Brian Smikle gave the Robins the lead on four minutes and Jeff Goulding made it two on 19.
Terry Gornell cut the lead for Stanley, but goals from Goulding and Robin Shroot ensured Edwards' 90th minute penalty was a mere consolation.
Bobby Grant, Accrington Stanley. April 14, 2012
The promotion charge under Mark Yates was in danger of falling apart after six defeats in eight games when Stanley visited Whaddon Road.
Keith Lowe headed the Robins into the lead and Ben Burgess' first Robins goal made it two early in the second half.
Marlon Pack added the third before Grant's goal gave Stanley some hope before Kaid Mohamed sealed the win with the fourth in injury time.
