Aberdeen

Aberdeen is the perfect place to go if you fancy a trip to the coast but still want to stay in the city, the perfect mix of urban feel and crisp sea air! The city has some of the most distinctive architecture in Scotland - thanks to the extensive use of granite Aberdeen has been nicknamed ‘The Granite City’. If the weather is in your favour there is a beach within walking distance and there are plenty of museums and galleries to visit as well as lots of historical sites if you venture into rural Aberdeenshire.

Glasgow

Inverness

Isle of Skye

Oban

Oban is the largest town in Argyll and Bute and is know as the ‘Gateway to the Isles’. One of the first things you’ll see when you arrive into the town is the impressive McCaig’s Tower which overlooks the town and has stunning views over to the Islands. There is plenty to do in Oban including tucking into some fresh seafood, checking out the local shops and learning about the culture and history of the town at the War & Peace Museum. The surrounding areas are perfect for long walks, spotting wildlife and water sports.
