West Highland Way

The West Highland Way is one of the world’s classic long distance walks. It stretches 96 miles north from Milngavie, in the northern suburbs of Glasgow to Fort William, a Highland town nestled at the foot of Ben Nevis – the highest mountain in the UK.

The West Highland Way route is spectacular, following the banks of Loch Lomond, across the wilderness of Rannoch Moor and into the breathtaking beauty of Glencoe and the very heart of the Scottish Highlands.

Fife Coastal Path

There is so much for you to discover on the Fife Coastal Path. Stretching for 117 miles from the Firth of Forth in the south, to the Firth of Tay in the north, the route offers an amazing outdoor experience!

From the cosmopolitan atmosphere of St.Andrews to the former coal mining towns of central Fife. The small fishing villages of the East Neuk to the bustling industrial areas of the west, rugged cliffs, award winning beaches, internationally important estuaries and wildlife reserves, the Fife Coastal Path is an experience not to be missed.

Southern Upland Way

The Southern Upland Way is Britain’s first official coast to coast long distance footpath. It runs 212 miles (340 km) from Portpatrick on the south west coast of Scotland to Cockburnspath on the eastern seaboard.

The Southern Uplands have been heavily sculpted and rounded by the effects of glaciation to leave a series of gently rolling hills with occasional rocky outcrops. There are no summits above 3000ft (914m), but over 80 rise above 2000ft (610m), offering some fine hill walking and stunning views.

Speyside Way

The Speyside Way is one of four official long distance routes in Scotland (the others are the West Highland Way, the Southern Upland Way and the Great Glen Way).

It runs from Buckie on the shore of the Moray Firth coast of NE Scotland, south-westwards to Aviemore on the edge of the Cairngorm Mountains, a distance of approximately 65 miles. The route is suitable for cyclists as well as walkers!

The 100 mile Ayrshire Coastal Path travels from Glenapp Kirk, just north of Stranaraer, to Skelmorlie, seven miles south west of Greenock, along Scotland’s stunning south west coast.

You will find amazing wildlife along the route – there are some 135 species of bird, seals, otters, roe deer and foxes – historic sites - including Turnberry Castle, believed to be the birthplace of Robert the Bruce - and sea views.
