Organise Your Time
Exam time is a busy time of the year! There are lots of ways to help manage your time like creating revision timetables, plans and lists. To plan your time effectively you could try writing down the dates of your exams and then plan your time around this. You might want to give some exams more attention than others so be sure to get a balance that you're comfortable with.
Take Regular Breaks
You don't want to burn yourself out at exam time so remember to take regular breaks. Taking breaks can help ensure that your revision time is effective and productive. Remember to make this work for you and work at times of the day where you feel you are most productive and take longer breaks when you need to. Remember, don't feel guilty about taking breaks!
Use Past and Practice Papers
One of the most effective ways to prepare for exams is to practice taking past or practice versions. This helps you get used to the format of the questions and if you time yourself it can be good practice for making sure you spend the right amount of time on each section.
Get Help from Family and Friends
Ask people around you to test you and give you feedback. If you have already made some revision notes why note give these to a friend or family member and ask them to test you on them? Saying what you have learned out loud and explaining answers to their questions might help you get it clear in your head and highlight any gaps and areas that need more work.
