Take a lunch break!

Always try to take a lunch break and go for a walk or a run...you'll be amazed how many steps you can clock up in an hour! Even if it's raining, maybe you can walk around your office or school or head to the local shopping centre instead. Use your lunch to discover new areas or go shopping - just not for biscuits......!

Stairs are your friends

Use them instead of the lift or escalator. Trackers such as Fitbits measure how many flights of stairs you climb each day and count these towards your daily step goal!

3

Change your route

If you walk to work or school then why not leave 5 or 10 minutes earlier so you can extend your route and get closer to your step goal? Or plan a different route that you know will take you extra time to get to your destination?
