Poll: Is it fair to target IPL and cricketers over Cauvery protests?

In what was a highly embarrassing turn of events in Chennai on Tuesday evening, shoes were hurled by Cauvery protesters at Chennai Super Kings cricketers, Ravindra Jadeja and Faf du Plessis. In their attempt to use IPL's massive popularity and reach as a vehicle for their cause, the protesters - however just their cause - forgot that cricketers, especially international ones who are essentially the guests of India, have no direct part to play in the matter.
