1

Singing along to John Lennon's "So This Is Christmas" like they're at an actual Beatles concert.

War is oooooover. If you waaaaaant it. Every baby boomer knows this song and they want EVERYONE to know it!

2

Asking their Gen-Z niece/nephew to set up the bluetooth speakers so they can play their Christmas carols.

Technology isn't a boomer's forte, especially bluetooth wireless technology! How on earth will they be able to play their Spotify playlist if they can't connect the speakers! "Jeremy!?"

3

Watching "It's A Wonderful Life" on TV.

Ask any boomer what their favorite Christmas movie is and this will be their answer. It's far from the greatest Christmas movie of all time but it's ALWAYS on tv and it's "classic". Can't argue with that.

4

Buying wrapping paper in bulk at Costco

Boomers aren't suckers. They know how expense wrapping paper is at the grocery store. They make sure to buy a bully pack of wrapping paper the second they come out at Costco on Nov 1st and keep it in the garage until it's wrapping time.

5

Getting a spam email saying that "Amazon needs their banking information" and actually believing it.

Unfortunately, boomers are targets for "digital scams". Those emails saying that their Christmas gift order from Amazon has been suspended until they provide their credit card are totally fake. But a lot of boomers believe it!

6

Shovelling the driveway even though there's only a 1/2 inch of snow on it.

Boomers have lived through the most treacherous winters and they know the trick to avoiding shovelling a mountain of snow in the morning. Shovelling the first layer the night before. It's genius, but isn't hard work so old-fashioned?

7

Showing off their new CBD vape pen to the family.

Boomers are now officially on the CBD bandwagon. Everyone has that uncle who's selling his own CBD oil on Amazon. It's a miracle for aches and pains!

8

Wearing a Christmas sweater non-ironically.

Boomers don't consider Christmas sweaters "ugly", they're just "festive". They've worn the same sweater every year since the 80s and there is not an ounce of irony in that.

9

Asking: "So what is this whole 'gender fluid' thing" at the dinner table.

Gender topics amongst other socio-political topics are pretty taboo at the point but boomers are just starting to get a grasp on all these new ways of thinking. "have you seen that Harry Styles? He's really something, isn't he?"

10

Sending a holiday E-Greeting to literally everyone in your email address book.

Boomers are the masters of the greeting email as well as the "forwarded email". For boomers, email is still "fun" so they will send funny pictures, anecdotes and jokes through email, oh...and Christmas Greetings!

11

Decking out the house with a zillion Christmas lights.

The electricity bill is totally worth it! Boomers don't mind wasting electricity as the younger generations so for them, the more lights the merrier!

12

Playing Barry Manilow's Christmas Anthology on a loop.

Every boomer worth his/her salt will have at least one Barry Manilow Christmas album on their playlist. He's the boomer king of Christmas.

13

Bringing out the Christmas candles from storage and lighting ALL of them.

Pine, cinnamon, sugar cookie, candles are a must have for a boomer Christmas. The house needs to smell as Christmasy as possible.
