The 2018 FIFA World Cup Trophy tours the globe

The 2018 FIFA World Cup Trophy will be visiting more than 50 countries during its tour.

The tour began in the host country where more than 220,000 people could see the trophy. During the time in Russia, around 16 cities were visited.

The World Cup Trophy has traveled to more than 50 of its destinations. There are about five cities left to cover on the journey.

In the words of Mordechai Spiegler, former player of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and New York Cosmos (NYC), "Football is about love...togetherness. It's not against, it is for."

On Sunday, April 22, the Trophy Tour spent their time in Duisburg, Germany, with local team Eisenbahner Turn-und Sportverein (ETuS) Bissingheim. They were taking part of a national contest collecting bottle caps.
