What part of the project do you typically choose?

If the assignment requires a speaker, what is your strategy?

In the future you see yourself as...

Overachiever

Overachiever

You like to mingle and love school in general. The chance at a group project is just to get to know more students and show off your skills. The Overachiever shows up to class early, takes more detailed notes than the lecture gives, and in a group project, takes the initiative to do 99% of the work.

"There’s nothing we can’t do if we work hard, never sleep, and shirk all other responsibilities in our lives." - Leslie Knope played by Amy Poehler

Slacker

Slacker

You try to get out of anything if possible. You don’t always hate group projects, because you may be able to get away with doing nothing at all. Can be found wearing sunglasses inside or wearing headphones during class, the Slacker is the one who has no idea what is going on during the group project or at least acts like it to show they should not be given too much work.

"I just figured I might as well get payed for being here."
– April Ludgate played by Aubrey Plaza

Center of Attention

Center of Attention

You’re annoyed because you probably didn’t get who you wanted in the group. You can’t wait for it to be over. The Center of Attention is either only interested in the aesthetics of the presentation and not really the content. They probably disappear after the first group meeting and show up for the final.

"Oh, what's this in my show? Red carpet insole. Everywhere I go, I'm walking on red carpet." – Tom Haverford played by Aziz Ansari

Average Joe

Average Joe

It doesn’t matter to you, you just want to pass and get the assignment done. The Average Joe is on time to class, never does extra credit, and in a group project, you can count on them to do exactly what is required.

"No, that’s Buckingham Palace. Hogwarts is fictional. You do know that, don’t you? It’s important to me that you know that." – Ben Wyatt played by Adam Scott
