On June 22, Houston residents gathered in East Houston in response to President Donald Trump's "zero-tolerance" immigration policy.
Dozens of families and community members joined the rally organized by Fiel Houston, a local non-profit advocating for social justice and immigrant rights.
Residents held signs and chanted out loud asking for justice.

On June 30, several cities will participate in a rally called the "National Day of Action - Families Belong Together."
The event, organized by Indivisible Houston, PSR Houston, FIEL and other allied groups, will begin at 10 a.m. at the City Hall located in Downtown Houston.
Attendees are expected to walk to Senators' Ted Cruz's office to show solidarity with families and opposition to the immigration law.
