Zuckerberg faces Congress after info leak

Facebook has come under fire after the personal information of millions of users was misused and distributed to Cambridge Analytica without permission. CEO Mark Zuckerberg was questioned by the U.S. Congress on April 10 regarding this incident.

Cambridge Analytica is a political consulting firm based in the UK, and collected the data of 50 million Facebook users for the purpose of identifying their personalities and attempting to influence their behavior for political and corporate entities.

Zuckerberg is taking full responsibility for this mishandling of information. He faced a second consecutive Congress hearing on April 11.
