#20 Jalen Ramsey, Cornerback

This is the new face of the Jaguars franchise. In his sophomore campaign, Ramsey was named to the Pro Bowl as well as the All-Pro 1st-team after totaling 17 pass breakups and four interceptions in the regular season.
#93 Calais Campbell, Defensive End/Tackle
At the age of 31, the former Arizona Cardinal put together his best NFL season after signing with the Jaguars prior to the 2017 season. He coined the phrase "Sacksonville" with a career and team-high 14.5 sacks in the regular season. The 6'8" Campbell was named his third Pro Bowl, and earned 1st-team All-Pro honors.
#21 A.J. Bouye, Cornerback

His first season as a Jaguar was his career best. The former Houston Texan intercepted a team-high six passes in addition to 18 pass breakups. Bouye was named 2nd-team All-Pro, and played in his first career Pro Bowl.
#50 Telvin Smith, Weakside Linebacker
Smith showcased his skillset as one of the best off-the-ball linebackers in the NFL during the 2017 season, posting 102 tackles, one sack and three interceptions in 14 games. He was named to his first career Pro Bowl, as well as being named 2nd-team All-Pro. In the playoffs, he led all NFL players in total tackles with 31.
#91 Yannick Ngakoue, Defensive End
In his second NFL season, Ngakoue proved to be one of the best edge-rushers in the league (as well as one of the hardest names to pronounce). He posted a career-high 12 sacks, a league-high six forced fumbles, and was named to his first Pro Bowl. Over the course of the regular and post-season, the 22-year-old Ngakoue contributed to five defensive touchdowns.
#44 Myles Jack, Middle Linebacker

(Gif/Giphy) Jack put together a solid regular season, but exploded in the playoffs with career performances. In addition to posting 90 tackles and two sacks in the regular season, the 22-year-old Jack forced three huge turnovers in the playoffs, including his first career interception.
#39 Tashaun Gipson, Free Safety

After a somewhat disappointing 2016 showing with only one interception in 16 games, the former Pro Bowler returned to form in 2017, intercepting four passes, breaking up seven, and securing 64 tackles in the regular season.
#42 Barry Church, Strong Safety
The 30-year-old veteran Dallas Cowboy was expected to decline in his play after signing with Jacksonville before the 2017 season. Posting a career-high 4 interceptions, a career-high 8 pass breakups and 74 tackles last season, Church proved he can still make plays at an NFL level.
#56 Dante Fowler Jr., Defensive End
Anticipated to be a bust after missing his rookie season followed by a lackluster 2016, Fowler elevated his play in 2017, posting eight sacks as a rotational player and a key member of a pass rush that earned the nickname "Sacksonville". Including the playoffs, he was the third Jaguar to reach double-digit sacks on the season.
#51 Paul Posluszny, Strongside Linebacker
In his final season with the Jaguars, the now-retired Posluszny posted his lowest tackle count (61) since his rookie season in 2007. In his limited role, "Poz" still showed elite instincts and served as a team captain and great mentor to his successor Myles Jack.
#22 Aaron Colvin, Slot Cornerback
Despite being far from the best member of the Jaguars defense, Colvin may be the hardest to replace. Colvin recently signed with the divisional rival Houston Texans after spending his first four seasons with Jacksonville. He had 37 tackles and broke up five passes from the slot, without allowing a single touchdown catch during the 2017 season.
#99 Marcell Dareus, Defensive Tackle
Acquired in a mid-season trade with the Buffalo Bills, Dareus only played nine games in the regular season with Jacksonville. Expect his role, production, and ranking on this list to increase quickly next season. Dareus returned to Pro Bowl form in the playoffs, posting two sacks and eight tackles in three games as a rotational player.
