Oklahoma Thug Attempts Armed Robbery, Mom & Daughter Duo Give Him Brutal Surprise

When a lowlife Oklahoma thug attempted to rob a mom and daughter at gunpoint, things didn’t quite go as he had hoped. In fact, instead of making off with their belongings, he got a brutal surprise that he never saw coming.
A shocking video has emerged out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, where an armed thug thought he would make easy prey out of a mom and daughter at a liquor store, which they owned. According to local news source KTUL, the incident took place at approximately 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Forest Acres Liquor Store near East 12th Street and Memorial Drive.

Tina Ring, the store’s owner, released the video footage showing an armed thug named Tyrone Lee entering the store with a shotgun before threatening the two women. This coward thought he was going to victimize the mom and daughter without a fight, but he couldn’t have been more wrong.
The footage shows the suspect taking cash from the register as Tina Ring and her daughter went for their own guns. Lee disappears from the camera’s view for a brief moment, but when he comes back, the pissed off mom and daughter had a brutal surprise waiting for him.
As the clip continues, the two women open fire on Lee and a struggle for the mother’s gun quickly ensues. As Lee struggles with the mom to disarm her, he pistol whips her in the head as the daughter is seen shooting him multiple times at close range.
After shooting the thug, both the mother and daughter leave the store. Lee, who at this point is suffering from several gunshot wounds, falls to the floor behind the register but then makes his escape before the police arrive.

When police arrived, they interviewed the two women, but Lee was nowhere to be found. According to Daily Caller, the suspect surfaced at a local hospital hours later to have his gunshot wounds treated and was listed in critical condition. Police later said that Lee was suspected of 10 other robberies in the area.
Brandon Watkins with the Tulsa Police Department’s Robbery Unit told KTUL, “The liquor store owner had and pulled a gun of her own and shot him … I’m not sure he even got away with his life at this point. He doesn’t appear to be in very good shape at the moment. It does appear that this is going to be the guy that we’ve been looking for, for the last couple of weeks that’s done multiple robberies here in Tulsa as well as up in the county.”
If Lee does survive the gunshot wounds rightfully inflicted on him by the mom and daughter at the liquor store, he will be spending a considerable amount of time behind bars. The daughter, who was identified as Ashley Nichole Lee, wrote about the horrific incident on Facebook.
“Y’all have no idea what I or my mother endured,” wrote Ashley Lee. “Until you’ve been through something like that … please. I love my mother and wanted to do nothing more than to protect. It was hard.”
Ashley’s husband, who was identified as James Lee, wrote, “My wife and her mom are the toughest women I know and I’m so proud of them if you have watched the video then you know that and we are so blessed that the outcome is what it is, I could not imagine life without my best friend and wife they are both amazing women and did not deserve this. Thank you all for your prayers and positive words they both need them right now.
Police said that the owner suffered a gash to her head which required staples. The owner’s son, who identified himself as Justin Christen, gave a brief statement to KTUL, saying that it was his mother’s and sister’s guns that saved their lives. He also told reporters, “We’re not going to be victims.”
After the incident, Ring and her daughter spoke with ABC13 News. Ring said, “The next thing I know, I have my gun, and I’m like shooting him, and I get up, and I shoot him again, and then, he kept just coming back at me.” That’s when the video shows the suspect grabbing Ring’s gun and wrestling with her before Ashley shoots him multiple times.
“Until you have a gun waving at you, you don’t know what you’re gonna be thinking. It happened so fast, but it seemed like it lasted for so long,” Ashley Lee told ABC13 News.
Once again, the 2nd amendment pulls its own weight. If the store’s owner and her daughter had not been armed this situation could have turned out much worse. They both deserve a tremendous amount of gratitude from their community for having removed such a vile criminal from the streets.
