This Boy Took His Victim's Dignity, Self-Worth, And Her Right To Her Body.

The events that took place the night of January 17/18, 2015 changed the life of Brock Turner's intoxicated, unresponsive victim forever. His decision to sexually assault this woman behind a dumpster after dragging her out of a frat house displayed that he not only was and is a rapist, but that he is a boy, not a man. A man wouldn't assault an unconscious woman, because a man would've made sure that woman was safe and that she got home safely. Brock Turner, you took away everything precious to this woman, you violated her, and you proved yourself to be a danger to society. So congratulations, you not only destroyed someone else's life, but yours as well.

The Media Tried To Display His Accomplishments In Order To Distract From His Crime.

You might be wondering, "Why would the media try and distract from this awful thing that he did?" Well let me just tell you. It's because he is both of the two Ws: wealthy and white. If you look at rape and assault cases with men who are not white, they don't get light sentences to say the least. In fact they are justly punished, not given 6 months in jail because it would be "deeply altar" their lives forever. Because at the end of the day, who cares if a rapist's life is deeply altered when they already destroyed their victim's life to an even deeper extent.

3

He Blamed His Actions On Being Under The Influence Of Alcohol????

No one decides to rape someone once they get drunk. It is a decision made in one's head long before they ever even take a sip of alcohol. In the words of Matt Lang shown in the picture, "Alcohol has this capacity to unlock what, deep down, we've always wanted to do." And that's exactly what happened in Brock Turner's case. Alcohol didn't turn him into a rapist, it just opened the door to the desire that was already in him.

4

If He Could Drag Her Out Of A Frat House And Behind A Dumpster, He Wasn't That Drunk.

Anyone who has been intoxicated knows that it can be really fun, but if you drink too much you suddenly become focused on getting into your bed and trying not to puke everywhere. So obviously if you were to get very intoxicated and be on the verge of vomiting, engaging in sexual activity with someone is the last thing on your mind, and most people can agree with that. For Brock Turner to say he was very drunk has to be untrue because there is no way a person that claims to be highly intoxicated can support the weight of someone who is even more intoxicated than themselves out of a party, drop them behind a dumpster, take all of their clothes off, and then continue to rape them without puking or passing out themselves. So Brock Turner I don't know about you, but when I "drink too much" I can barely handle myself, let alone another person.

5

He Said His Night Went From "Fun" To Being "Ruined."

Fun? Really? After everything that happened on that night in January you still use the word "fun" to describe beginning of it? I thought you said you wished you had never been drinking? So by stating that the night was fun before it took a turn, you do understand Brock Turner that you are basically saying that raping her was "fun" until you got caught by two grad students that were riding bikes by you. Yeah, it may have been "fun" to you until you got caught, but nothing about that night was "fun" to your victim.

6

When The Victim Said She Would Drop Charges If He Would Admit To His Actions.

In the victim's 12 page letter to her rapist, Brock Turner, she stated that "had Brock admitted guilt and remorse and offered to settle early on, I would have considered a lighter sentence, respecting his honesty, grateful to be able to move our lives forward." Just from this statement alone, women everywhere can clearly see that the nameless victim is "a warrior — with a solid steel spine," (in the words of Joe Biden). Just this act of grace she was willing to grant to him alone makes her an inspiration, and a feminist that women and men everywhere should look up to and strive to be everyday.

7

He Is Entitled, And Has Been Taught He Can Have Whatever He Wants, When He Wants It.

Brock Turner didn't just rape someone out of alleged drunkenness. He raped his victim because he has been taught that he deserves to have whatever he wants, whenever he wants. He's never had to answer to anyone, and his parents or someone close to him has given him a sense of entitlement. It is a parent's responsibility to teach their child that rape and assault is morally wrong, and it's something Brock's parents obviously never did.

8

His Father Wrote A Letter To The Judge Defending His Son's Actions.

To add on to the point of entitlement above, the attacker's father (you know? the one who was supposed to teach his son to be a decent human being) actually went so far as to write a letter to the judge on the case claiming that Brock receiving a long jail sentence would be a "steep price to pay for 20 minutes of action." I know what you're thinking, like father like son. I wouldn't be surprised if Brock actually learned this nasty impaired judgement from his father. So Mr. Turner, maybe you should put yourself in the victim's parents shoes for two seconds, and realize that your son needs to pay the price for this inhumane crime he has committed against an innocent human being.

9

The Amount Of Time He Is Spending Behind Bars Is Only 6 Months.

If the whole situation isn't horrible enough, Brock Turner will only spend 6 months behind bars (3 if he has good behavior), serve 3 years probation, and be a registered sex offender for the rest of his life. Compared to other cases where rapists were sentenced to years behind bars, this is a joke and absolutely degrading to women everywhere. This is white, male supremacy at its finest.

10

Oh! And He Will Spend More Time Behind Bars Than 97% Of Rapists.

Nothing else needs to be said here besides that fact that if none of the previous information from the case has ignited the feminist flame inside, I promise you, this sad and shocking information will.
