In June, Elizabeth and Jason Docherty were on their babymoon in the Simpson Desert, which is located in Australia.

They were having an amazing time, until something horrible happened...

Elizabeth lost her prized wedding ring (pictured below).

And it was lost, forever, in the sands of the desert.

Elizabeth was sure she'd never see her ring again.

This week, incredibly, someone found the ring!! And it went viral on Facebook as the local police tried to track down its rightful owner!

And, luckily, Elizabeth's sister-in-law saw the Facebook post, and passed it on!
