5 ways to clean a diamond ring at home

When it comes to a diamond ring, however, things are slightly different. One can always seek the services of a specialist but they can also clean the ring at home, which is much more convenient. This is one of the most efficient ways to restore the beauty of your precious ring. Take a small bowl, pour hot water in it as well as several drops of dishwashing soap. Ketchup gives every precious ring its shine back. Soak your ring into a bowl with ketchup for five minutes. Take a soft toothbrush and work ketchup into each and every crevice. Take your time and carefully clean every part of the ring. After that rinse with tepid water and dry the ring with a soft cloth.

You can give your gold ring its lustre back by wiping it with a soft cloth soaked in beer. Any type of beer will do except for dark ale. Rub the band gently for several minutes avoiding the diamond. When the ring is clean, dry it with a clean cloth.

Start with filling a glass bowl with equal amounts of water and ammonia. Place the ring inside and let it soak for half an hour. Take the ring out using tongs and pour the liquid in the sink. Now we will prepare a scrubbing solution, which will help to easily remove the loosen grime. Make a mixture of ammonia and dishwashing liquid.
