Friends usually don't understand why you would rather stay in then go to a party.

Some peoples off time consists of going to a party and meeting and seeing alot of people, but for a person whose shy or quiet maybe they just want to stay home and watch netflix or curl up with a glass of wine and a book and be comfortable. Everyones personalities differ and are typically never the same.

They think first before opening their mouths!

Quiet people tend to not just shout out nonsense, they think hard about what they are going to say and how they are going to say it. It does not mean they are being rude it just means maybe they have nothing to add to your conversation.

3

Shy maybe at first but let them warm up

Quiet people may be shy at first but if you are a person they deeply want to get to know or who find interesting and want to persue a friendship with they will warm up to you eventually it just may take them a little while at first.

4

Just because they're quiet does not mean they are not confident

This is a huge misconception that most people dub quiet people as being meek and spineless. Nope they just simply don't have to flaunt it that they are confident they show you in their behaviors and when they do open up to you, you will know.

5

Alot of times what you may be talking about just is not what they're interested in sorry

Just because something interests you does not mean it will interest the other person. You cannot expect someone to be fake and gush over your conversation if they want to add to a thought they will, but don't take it personally if they don't.
