Upcoming SESAT Awards Night.
SESAT are very proud to announce our upcoming awards night, to be hosted on 21st February at the Nerang RSL. This event marks the return of our annual awards night, which has not been active for the past 10 years, the last event being held back in 2008.
All finalists have now been notified and are looking forward to discovering who will take home awards in the following categories.
1st & 2nd Year Carpenter – Winner and Runner-Up
3rd & 4th Year Carpenter – Winner and Runner-Up
1st & 2nd Year Electrician – Winner and Runner-Up
3rd & 4th Year Electrician – Winner and Runner-Up
Encouragement Awards – for 2 Apprentices
Staff Member of the Year – SESAT
Overall Apprentice of the Year
We currently have approximately 80 carpenters and 60 electricians, totaling 140 individuals ranging in age from 17–29, all engaged in apprenticeships and therefore in the running for the top prize. All award winners will receive a prize ranging from a $200 tool voucher for runners-up; to quality tools to the value of $600 for category winners, and the top prize for Apprentice of the Year receiving over $4000 worth of tools and prizes. This award has been sponsored by Total Tools Biggera Waters and Burleigh Waters; Busy at Work; and Building Industry Training.
