Canadian junior hockey team involved in fatal crash        

A Canadian junior hockey team was involved in a fatal bus crash on Friday. The team was headed to game five of the semi-finals against the Nipawin Hawks when their bus collided with a semi-truck, leaving 15 dead.

The tragedy has caused an inflow of people supporting the team. Many have gathered in some way to remember the 15 people killed in the accident. Those who have survived the accident refuse to give up hope.

Hundreds of people and groups have placed hockey sticks outside of their homes to show their support for the Humboldt Broncos.The GoFundMe page that was started for the team is currently among the top 5 campaigns on the platform. There has been $9.5 million raised thus far.
