The maritime provinces are made up of three provinces: New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and St.Edward island.

New Brunswick: Like all maritime provinces it boarders the Atlantic ocean. It has colder winters and warmer summers. More then half of New Brunswick is bordered by water.

Nova Scotia: Nova Scotia has the warmest average temperature of any other province even though it doesn't have the warmest winters. There are about 3,800 coastal islands in Nova Scotia.

St. Edward island: St. Edward is the smallest in population and size. It is also the most dense of any other Canadian province. The province is made up of rolling hills.
