Aaron Tucker was living at a half-way house and working towards a better future after spending almost 2 years in prison...

When on his way to an important job interview, tragedy struck!

"I looked up and saw a car flipped over right in front of the bus, so I ran to try to jump out of the bus."

Rather than ignore the situation, Aaron stepped in!

"I said I was going to help him, and asked the [bus] driver if he was going to wait for me and he said, ‘No, I am going to leave you.’”

Knowing he wouldn't have a chance at reaching that interview on-time, Aaron jumped off the bus and ran towards the flipped vehicle.

It didn’t go through my head, because a job can come and go, but a life is only one time. The only thing running through my head is that person in the car could pass away and I could help him.

Would you stop and help total strangers after witnessing a severe car crash?

Calculating results

Severely injured and slipping in and out of consciousness, Aaron stayed with the man until help arrived!

He kept shutting his eyes and I made sure he stayed awake. I told him to open his eyes. I said, ‘Your family wants you.'

In response to Aaron's bravery, the community has come together to help support Aaron with money raised on GoFundMe!

In addition to funds, Aaron has also received many different job offers...

“I just want to support my son and his mother,” Tucker said.

“I’m looking for any kind of job –- construction worker, landscaper, restaurant worker. I’ll do a good job."

At the time of the incident, Aaron had less than $2 in his pocket and was struggling to find a job.

Now, thanks to his bravery and a grateful community, Aaron's future is looking up!

You did God’s work.
