Jaclyn Norman is currently a log term sub here at Roosevelt. I got the chance to ask her a few questions in regards to the dress giveaways:

 When I was working at another school, my mentor teacher ran a program like this. The excitement on student's faces when they found a dress is what inspired me to bring the program to ERHS. It is amazing to see the school and community work together to help students out

The dresses are donated from people around the community. I wish I could meet each person that donates a dress so I could personally thank them, but many are just being brought to my class from being dropped off. 

 I am currently a long-term substitute, but hope to stay on campus. I would love to continue this program and expand it so it can help other activities on campus. I hope to make this annual and continue helping students!
