Hailey got Fynn when he was only eleven weeks old, and a big ol' ball of fluff! It took over a year to train him, but now he's a certified therapy dog who takes care of Hailey 24/7

He's like half bear half pup!

Hailey and Flynn go everywhere together; he opens doors for her, fetches her parents when they're needed, but most importantly he's a medical alert dog. He can tell when Hailey is about to have a seizure and can get her help quickly.

One day in 2015 Hailey was visiting her Dad at his place of work when someone decided to give Flynn some extra attention, despite the fact that his harness specifically request he not do that. Hailey saw this and told the man not to distract her service dog, but the damage was already done

Flynn missed the subtle cues that Hailey was about to seize, so when the seizure began Hailey didn't have time to get to safety. She ended up in hospital due to the injuries she suffered during the seizure. Hailey wants you to remember that you mustn't distract service dogs! Hailey and Flynn are both fine now, but it's a lesson worth learning!

Hailey recovered well, and Flynn has never become distracted again
