Transtorno bipolar
Transtorno bipolar
There are two phases of Bipolar Disorder: the Manic Phase and the Depressive Phase. People who suffer from this disorder have extreme mood swings that go from one of the two phases to the next. The Manic Phase is generally the happier phase, and the Depressive Phase is the opposite.
In the Manic Phase, a bipolar person may feel euphoria, have an inflated self-esteem, and take unnecessary risks. In the Manic Phase, they feel powerful and invincible. They can be more aggressive and hyperactive, and often experience an increased sex drive during this time.
In the Depressive Phase, a bipolar person will feel the exact opposite. They will experience symptoms of Depression, such as feelings of worthlessness and guilt. They may also frequently think of death and/or suicide. They may suffer from physical pain and fatigue, and feel a lack of energy. They may also have a lower appetite and decreased sex drive.
