Assuming that Mr. Darcy was so small a person was my biggest mistake. I was blinded by Wickham’s perfect mask, hardly questioned his character and attributed all the wrongdoings to Mr. Darcy. I have accused a man with so much generosity because of my partiality toward someone who is not even by the least as worthwhile.

I committed an offense against the woman whom I now admire. How I managed to overlook the refinement of such a woman in the first place, I do not know. My excessive pride has led to the consequence of my idea woman’s refusing the offer of my hand. This enormous mistake I have never before more sincerely wished to be undone than this moment.

I wish I never move to London for I have missed the opportunity to marry the love of my life. Only if I have voiced my opinion against my sisters' and Darcy's, I would have been able to stay at Longbourn and proposed to my dear Jane. Oh, what a great pain that I have to go through right now!

I regret not showing enough affection toward Mr. Bingley. Perhaps it was the reason the drove him away from me. Now thinking back about it, I could have appeared to be less indifferent toward such special regard.
