It's difficult to put into words just how incredible Cristiano Ronaldo's Champions League achievements are.

At 33 years of age, Real Madrid's superstar goal machine already has his name attached to a number of mind-boggling records, but season after season, goal after goal, they all continue to tumble.

With three goals against Juventus in Madrid's previous Champions League quarter-final tie, the Portugese hitman continues to strengthen his claim as the tournament's greatest ever player, and with the numbers to back it up, it's difficult to make a case against it.

Whether or not CR7 makes his mark on the semi-final against Bayern Munich remains to be seen, but ahead of the mouth-watering clash between two of Europe's finest, we look at Ronaldo's most incredible Champions League records (so far) and the ones he may go on to shatter.

Ronaldo's three goals in the previous round against Juventus took his total Champions League haul to 120 goals.

That ridiculous amount - scored in only 150 appearances in the competition - puts him 20 ahead of second place Lionel Messi and a staggering 49 ahead of third place Raul.

In Real Madrid's successful 2013/14 Champions League campaign, Ronaldo scored an unbelievable 17 goals en route to Madrid lifting the trophy - including one in the final.

He is currently on 15 this season, but with at least another two games to go, it'd take a brave person to back against him eclipsing his own incredible record.

Ronaldo completed a unique record during this season's Champions League campaign.

With goals in both the home and away legs against APOEL, Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham Hotspur, the Real Madrid icon became the first player to score in all six Champions League group games - hitting nine goals in three games.

It puts him level with Lionel Messi's all-time career record of 60 goals in the Champions League group stage.

Ronaldo always seems to step up when it matters most, and this year has been no different.

His brace against Juventus - including THAT breathtaking overhead kick - in Los Blancos' 3-0 quarter-final first leg win, saw Ronaldo break Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record of scoring in ten successive Champions League games.

His emphatic 97th minute penalty in the home leg of the tie was the 11th straight game Ronaldo has scored in, a feat matched by no other player.

CR7 always seems to deliver at the right time.

It's in the knockout stages of the Champions League where Ronaldo really comes into his own though - scoring 59 goals at this stage in the competition, which is 20 more than second-placed Lionel Messi.

Ronaldo's three goals against Juventus in the previous round marked another milestone for the Portuguese star.

With 23 goals, he has scored more times in quarter-final history than any other player. This figure puts him 13 goals ahead of second place Messi and Raul.

Before last season, Ronaldo was tied with old rival Lionel Messi on five Champions League top goal scorer awards.

However, after clinching the title last year and finishing as the tournament's top goal-scorer again, he has now moved ahead of Messi with six awards.

And, as the competition's top goal-scorer again this season, he could well add a seventh award by the end of the season.

His header for Manchester United against Chelsea in 2008 was the first of his final goals, and his late penalty against city rivals Athletico in 2014 was his second.

When he opened the scoring against Juventus in last year's showpiece, it meant that he had netted in his third Champions League final - the most by any player.

Messi has two final goals, both against Manchester United in 2009 and 2011.

Juventus must dread coming up against Real Madrid.

After their quarter-final tie, Ronaldo has scored 10 goals against Juve in his career, making him the only player to hit a double digit amount of goals past any one club.

The 33-year-old's penalty against Juventus was his 15th in the Champions League in 2017/18, a tally he has reached after only 10 games.

It also makes Ronaldo the only player to ever reach the 15-goal mark in a single season - and he's done it no less than three times (the first in 2015/16 when he scored 16 goals and the second in 2016/17 when he found the net 17 times).
