Roles for men in 50s

Mens were the suppliers for the family which means support the family by making money. The husband expected to come home with a cooked meal on the table. The man is expected to be the strong one of the relationship.

Teenage boys were taught to go into the service and then find a jobs to support a family. Girls were taught to stay homes and take care of the household. When boys and girls stated to get there education and attend college they started to show a rebellious side of themselves.
