Bobbi Kristina passed away on July 26. She was 22 years old.

She was found unresponsive in a bathtub on January 31 in her Georgia home. She was put in a medically-induced coma and later placed on life-support. On June 24, she was moved to hospice care.

She went peacefully, surrounded by her family.

It is hard to say goodbye. On Sunday, July 26, Bobbi Kristina Brown made her transition peacefully. The family thanks everyone for their loving thoughts and prayers.

As Bobbi Kristina would say: "The wind is behind me and the sun is in my face.”

Bobbi was the child of music legend, Whitney Houston and R&B singer, Bobby Brown.

She grew up in the spotlight and had to deal with a lot of controversy surrounding her parents, such as accusations of domestic violence and drug abuse.

Despite plenty of hardships, Bobbi was extremely close to her mother.

On Feb. 11, 2012, Houston was found dead in a bathtub in her Beverly Hilton Hotel suite.

After Bobbi found out the news, she suffered suffered a hysterical breakdown and had to be hospitalized. She was released shortly after.

Following her mother's untimely death, Bobbi sought comfort in her childhood friend, Nick Gordon. He later became her boyfriend.

Bobbi had dreams of following in her mother's footsteps.

And just like her mother, she was gone too soon. According to her family's statement, "She is finally at peace in the arms of God."
